
A health talk on one of the deadliest disease " Rabies" was given by Mrs. Tsering Lhamo la, a first TCV Batch student as well as the frist fullfledge nurse TCV had produced. Mrs.Tsering Lhamo la also worked as a nurse in TCV Upper Dharamsala for a long time and because of her care and kindness, children or her colleagues called her " A TseLhamo".Presently she is working in the Tibet Charity, an NGO which looks after the welfare of the animals and who look after the health of the old people.
The talk on Rabies was presented with the help of Powerpoint presentation. In between she also asked and gave exercises like a good teacher in order to make the listeners glued to her presentation. Her talk was given in two shifts one for the senior students and other one for the junior students. Even after her talk on Rabies, she also called upon all the girls of TCV Suja and gave special Health talk related to girls.
While she was busy with her talk, her other teams specially the Vetenary doctors were busy sterilizing the dogs in our school.In the past also, the charity had visited nearby Tibetan settlements and vaccinate the dogs. Apart from their dog treatment, they have also given equipments related to the dog care.

One of the most long awaited day of both the children as well as the staff members of TCV Suja, The Children's Day turned out to be their most unforgettable day owing to the heavy downpour since the eve. Nevertheless, the function began and everybody braved the chill weather of Novembe, as the school staff band led the Tibetan National anthem. After that one of the student of class X, who had his first intereaction with the English subject only here in TCV Suja came up with his new book " Seedling" whose unveiling was done by the school Director.It was a great honour for all the staff members that a student has come up with a new book.Right after that the schoolPhuntsok Deshe band staged their live performance while the downpour kept pouring. During the function, the students and staff members were served hot tea and stuff sweet rice, which really came as a blessing for the students who had been then half drenched.



A two days workshop on CCE ( Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation ) was given by three resident teachers Namely Mr. Ngawang Thupten La, Mr. CHoedak Gyatso la and Mr. Tenzin Dhargyal la,all of whom have attended the same workshop conducted by the CBSE North Division at SHimla.Keeping in mind the seriousness of this new CBSE evaluation system, the workshop was arranged during the 5th and 6th periiod.Those who are participating in the workshop here were the Jtwo school Headmasters and the teachers of class VI and above.The workshop was given with the help of Powerpoint presentation. In one of the session, the home mothers were also called.There were also refreshment arranged during the recess.During the workshop, the three speakers talked turn by turn.The actual workshop given by the CBSE was only one day but here the teachers gave the same workshop for two days.At the end of these two days, all the teachers who have attended the workshop were quite well versed with the new system of evaluation started by the CBSE with effect from october 2009.
