Second English Debate :14th August '09:

The second Senior English Debate was held in the school hall on 14th August at 7 pm. This debate was among the classes IX and X and the motion for the debate was " Overcoming Human trait is fundamental for Global warming control". The debate chairperson Mr. Choedak Gyatso, an English and Social teacher opened the welcome by introducing the participants one by one. There were 12 students participating in this debate. As the debate proceeded, everybody in the hall was awe struck by the eloquence and the standard of the debate. Really, Suja seemed to have progressed a lot as far as this debate was concerned. There were three speakers in each group comprising of one who introduces, other reason out and the third concludes.During the calculation of the marks, a huge number of audience used the podium and shared their views on the topic.Finally, the school Assistant Headmaster, Mr. Tenzin Dorjee la distributed the prizes to the winners.
